Blue Print 3 - Jay Z. Poster Analysis

The left image shows a magazine cover which Jay Z used to further promote his album. The image on the right is the actual poster. It consists of simple colours, grey/white/red and prominant big, bold and black writing. Jay Z's name is clear to see, along with the date of issue. He uses the same image as the actual album, by doing this it will make the audience more and more familiar.

Furthermore this the poster/magazine advert clearly advertises the protagonists, JAY Z, because he is the USP (unique selling point) of the actual album due to his broad appeal worldwide and his influence on rap/hip-hop music. This marketing technique is cleverly used to act upon the performers fame and prosperity therefore grossing from this benefit.
